With Night Breaker H4-LED, OSRAM's first street legal LED replacement lamp for VW Beetle 68-, Type-3, Thing (181) and Bus '68-'92 is now on the market. The plug-and-play solution offers drivers significant advantages: very high cool white color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin with up to 230% more brightness compared to the minimum requirements of ECE R112, up to 5 times longer lifespan compared to halogen lamps and an additional 50% less glare. The approvel is only valid for Hella H4 headlight inserts with approval number E1 14551 as installed on many VW's from 1974 onwards. Please check if theses headlights are installed in your car before ordering. If not please order the correct headlights (item number 118114dt) separately. For cars up to 1973 a matching headlight ring (1974 onwards, 1-hole part number 118241ES) is required for installation. Approved LED light source - only applies to the respective countries in which there is approval or to which an equivalent approval applies and the vehicle models and light functions currently listed in the compatibility list.
