With this conversion kit you can convert the original brake system of the VW Beetle 1600i to the European design used in all other Beetle models. The VW Beetle 1600i is equipped with special brake calipers and brake discs that were only installed on this model. These can be difficult to obtain and expensive. Our conversion kit solves this problem by allowing you to convert your braking system to standardized European components that are more readily available and less expensive. Included in delivery: - 2x brake disc - 2x brake caliper - 1x hub cap left - 1x hub cap right - 2x locking plate for brake caliper - 4x screw for brake caliper - 1x nut for left wheel bearing - 1x nut for right wheel bearing - 2x brake hose - 2x wheel bearings With this conversion kit you will receive all the necessary components to efficiently convert the brake system of your VW Beetle 1600i.

These sway bars are just the right thing for the sporty driver of a VW Beetle or Karmann Ghia (Type-14) or Thing (181) year 08/65 on. With a diameter of 15 mm, these sway bars are three millimeter thicker than originial and improve driving stability and dynamic without having to make compromisses in driving comfort. The german made stabilizers are CNC bent and black powder coated. the standard sway bar rubbers needs to be modified to fit the 15mm bar.

Usually converting a ball joint front axle from a drum brake to a disc brake on the front axle is fairly easy. Unfortunately, the steering knuckles required for the conversion are very rare and sought after, so that implementation quickly runs into difficulties in procuring parts. The manufactured adapter plates enable the installation of a disc brake system on a vehicle with drum brakes without replacing the steering knuckles. Brake discs, wheel bearings and brake calipers correspond to the standard parts so that a reliable supply of wearing parts is also guaranteed. The scope of delivery includes two adapter plates, high-strength screws with locking washers and two brake lines. If necessary, the master brake cylinder must also be replaced.
