This end play measuring tool is a must-have in any classic VW or Porsche garage. The CNC machined aluminium tool were simply bolt to the engine case and allows the easy checking of the end play using a feeler gauge or dial gauge (8 mm shaft). We have improved the quality of the 25-36hp flywheel seal by changing the material to fluorine rubber.
The advantage that fluorine rubber offers over silicone is greater resistance to temperature, friction and oil.
The net result is a longer lasting and better functioning main seal.
